So, writing a single chapter will seem like a breeze in comparison—especially with me guiding you through the process!
2. The average cost to participate in an anthology is $5,000 per author. This fee typically goes toward editing, production, and marketing expenses. However, because we are keeping most of the production in house, we are able to reduce the price of this offer significantly. Similarly, most authors I work with can easily spend $5000 just for editing their book when self-publishing or working with a small press. Who should apply to write a chapter?
The ideal applicant should be an expert in their respective field and have an established practice serving clients.
Each participant will need to submit at least one case study about a person who healed (or had significant improvement) using their method of healing. Case studies and/or personal stories will be a key part of establishing and maintaining credibility throughout the book.
We want as many different methods as possible!
Of course, traditional methods like counseling are welcome. But, in order to be a complete guide, I am mostly looking for lesser known methods.

What if I use more than one modality to help people heal from trauma?
Great question! Most practitioners do use multiple techniques when they help people. While the chapter you write should focus on one modality in order to minimize confusion, you are absolutely encouraged to let people know that you use multiple techniques.
Focus the chapter on the modality that you use almost every time no matter who you work with, or the one you are the most qualified in, or the one that is rarely talked about. The idea is to bring awareness to as many techniques as possible, so if you use something almost nobody else uses, that's totally fine. Even if your method is totally unique and doesn't have a name - give it one! You will have to work a little harder to explain your process, but if you have a track record of helping people, this is the most important aspect.
What if there is more than one applicant for the same modality?
There may be situations where we accept applications from more than one applicant for the same modality. This makes it extremely important to explain how you bring your personal experience to your method(s). Explain how and why you are unique!
This also makes it vital to apply early and be the first with your healing method!
How Does it work?
Step 1 - Apply to be A Contributor
Don't be intimidated by the application process. This is to ensure quality, expert healing practitioners are being represented in the book. It also ensures that we don't end up with 15 authors writing about the same modality. Apply early for your best chance to be selected!
Step 2 - Write and Submit Your Chapter
Once selected to participate and your administrative fee is received, you can start writing your chapter. Everyone will submit a 2,000 to 3,000 word chapter that details critical elements of your healing method. Don't worry, you will be provided many tools to help with this step, as well as personal coaching if needed.
First, you will receive an outline template that will provide a common structure for all writers. This will ensure a consistent experience for readers throughout the chapters. This also removes pressure from you by providing the structure and sections to write about. Participants will simply have to fill in the blanks with their own specific information and leave the rest to us.
Second, you will receive lifetime access to my digital training courses, Blue Ocean Positioning and Expert Book Formula. These resources are invaluable for anyone wanting to write a solo book in the future, but will also help if you want to learn about impactful writing, regardless of the format. Expert Book Formula currently sells for $1,000 on its own.
Third, you will have the ability to receive a personal coaching call to help with ideas and writing questions.
Step 3 - We Professionally Edit Your Chapter
This will ensure no major spelling, grammatical, or developmental aspects are overlooked. One of the most important elements to this book will be establishing credibility, so we will put maximum attention to all aspects of production and publication. You and your modality will be displayed in the most professional manner possible.
Step 4 - We Handle All Aspects of Production and Publication
Once all of the chapters have been received and edited, we will professionally format and produce the book to exceed industry standards. This includes a professional interior layout as well as a custom cover design. Additionally, the book will be available in both print and ebook formats to accommodate different purchasing preferences.
Once production is complete, the book will be published through Innovator Press and the marketing campaign will go into full swing.

What if I haven't written before?
The chapter is about your personal area of expertise. When you apply your knowledge and stories to the fill-in-the-blank template I provide, I'm sure you will not have a problem. I believe in you and it will be awesome!
Will this book be a bestseller?
Yes. This book will be a Bestseller on Amazon in at least one category during launch week. And, I will do everything in my power to hit the big lists as well. Can you imagine being able to tell people you are not only a published author, but a Bestselling Author as well?
Is there a money back guarantee or refund policy?
Unfortunately, I cannot offer a refund for this opportunity. There is a limited number of spots and once the offer closes, production begins and there isn't any ability to replace you.
What about author copies, pricing, etc.?
There are no author copies included. However, I will set the price very low on all retail sites for maximum exposure. This means you get to pay a low price on Amazon and utilize your Prime account for free shipping.
If the book continues to sell very well and it makes sense to print a large run of books, all authors will have a chance to order at an even lower price.
Who gets the royalties from book sales?
There won't be a royalty share among authors since the goal is not to use this book to earn revenue.
This book will be positioned as a resource for trauma victims and as a promotional tool for healing practitioners. For this reason, the book will be priced very low to provide maximum availability to trauma victims and maximum exposure for all the authors.
All profits remaining after expenses will be donated to charities that help trauma victims heal.
How do we know the book will be high quality with so many different authors?
There are many checkpoints along the way to ensure everyone is turning in high quality work. Each chapter represents a professional who wants to put their best foot forward. Submitting a poorly written chapter reflects badly on themselves. For this reason, most of the contributors are very conscious of making a great debut and work extra hard to deliver high quality work.
What are the individual chapter expectations?
Each chapter will be between 2000 - 3000 words and must follow the structure of the template provided.
You will have 60 to 90 days to write your chapter, depending on when you apply.
All authors must be able to provide a case study showcasing a client they have helped with their method. Including peer-reviewed research and scientific evidence will make the case even more credible.
Be prepared to answer questions from my team in a timely manner. Sometimes, we do need revisions or parts of the writing clarified, so responding quickly will be critical.
You will be allowed to submit a headshot, short bio, a website link, and contact info (if not on website).
How can I reduce the cost, or get a discount?
I am happy to reward authors who activate their network and refer other healers to participate.
Receive $500 off for any healer you refer who is selected to participate. You can refer up to 2 people for a total of $1,000 off your total. Referrals MUST list your name on the application for the discount to apply.
If you have a large network of healers and can refer more than 3 experts of various trauma-healing modalities, shoot me an email to discuss the possibility for additional discounts.
I don't help heal trauma myself, or, the timing isn't good for me to write a chapter, but I still want to help. What can I do?
If the timing isn't quite right for you but you know people who would be a good fit, you can become and affiliate and earn $200 for anyone that applies and is selected to participate.
